Les Gets will see a world first this weekend as it hosts the inaugural ‘Skicolor’ event.
Skicolor is a new concept for the slopes, combining ski, fun and colour!
Diving through an explosion of colour
You might have come across a Color Run in the UK [what is it with that spelling?], but this is the first ever snow-based version.
During this unique event, skiers will ski a specially designed run down the Mont Chery slopes – literally diving through an explosion of colour.
Safe and environmentally friendly
Anyone taking part will be given protective white ski suits – and will obviously have to wear eyewear!
Les Gets is very focussed on its footprint and will stay true to its ‘eco village’ values by ensuring that the coloured powders are all 100% natural and environmentally friendly.
Colour and creativity
This first event has been organised around the themes of colour and creativity. There will be workshops for children, an interactive fresco and live DJ and concert on a stage overlooking Mont Blanc.
