Austria has recovered well from Covid-19 with life back to the ‘new normal’.
There is already skiing on several Austrian glaciers and the Panoramabahn in Kitzbhuel will be back in operation for summer daily from Saturday 04 July.

It’s been a big few weeks for Austrian downhill racer and OIympic gold medallist Matthias Mayer.
Only a few weeks ago he celebrated his 30th birthday and at the same time was married to his fiancé Claudia.
Yesterday he was back in Kitzbuhel – scene of his win in January in the famous Hahnenkamm race – to inaugurate his personalised gondola.
“It’s been a nice day off from sports!” said Mayer at the ceremony. He is pictured below with the CEO of Bergbahn AG Kitzbühel, Anton Bodner.
Season Tickets on sale now
If you’re a regular visitor to Kitzbuhel, the resort has announced that the KitzSki season ticket will be available at a special advance sale price.
The pre-sale season ticket is available until July 31 and just €660. It will cover any use of the lifts in Kitzbuhel this summer and for the winter season 2020/21.
