Which lifts are open in Tignes in summer?

The summer ski area in Tignes will be open from 7.15am to 1.00pm each day.

In the first week, skiers and snowboarders will be able to use four lifts: the Perce-Neige Funicular, the Vanoise chairlift, the Rosolin ski lift and the Panoramique chairlift. From 30 June through to 05 August, the following lifts will be added to that list – Ski Lift 3500, Corniche 1&2 and Snowpark.

The lifts will give access to 20km of pisted runs.

Open to non-skiers

Of course, you don’t need to be a skier to enjoy the amazing views from the glacier at 3032m as the funicular is accessible to pedestrians throughout the summer until 31 August.

It takes just 7 minutes to get to this high altitude and enjoy breathtaking views from Le Panoramic mountain restaurant.

Lift Ticket Prices

Ski Tickets – €25 per day
Pedestrian Tickets – €10 return (adults), €5 (children)

It’s not just skiing…

When the glacier closes at 1pm each day, there are still plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy.

Tignes is known for its summer activities which include water-jumping, skateboarding, mountain biking, trampolining, slacklining, canoeing, stand-up paddle and swimming, with activities based around Le Lac.
