At Chaletline we understand the need for complete peace of mind when it comes to booking your holiday, so we’re proud to say you’re 100% financially protected when you trust us with finding you the perfect ski chalet in resorts all over the world. Here’s proof.
The Security of TTA All the Way
Because we’re committed to ensuring our business and our clients are 100% safe, we hold membership with the TTA (Travel Trust Association). The TTA is a well-established and highly respected body that’s been financially protecting travellers for more than fifteen years.
This means that when you book your holiday through us, every single penny you pay us is safe in the unlikely event of company insolvency. We’re not going anywhere, but knowing that Chaletline is completely covered by the TTA means you can book with complete confidence.
ABTA and ATOL Bonded Operators
In addition to being fully financially protected ourselves, most of the ski chalet operators we use are fully bonded with the leading industry associations ABTA (Association of British Travel Agents) and ATOL (Air Travel Organiser’s Licence). This means that should the operator go under for any reason, your money will be completely safe in the hands of a third party and you’ll be rendered assistance not only to recover the funds but also with repatriation, should it be required.
Extra Security Where Needed
While the larger operators are bonded with ATOL and ABTA, some of the smaller ones we use may not be. However, if this is the case, we’ll put in place additional cover from the TTA to ensure that every penny you pay when booking a holiday with Chaletline is 100% safe.
100% Safe, 100% Transparency Guaranteed
Throughout our website we’ve made it easy for you to see exactly what protection/bonding is provided by individual operators. Just click on the ‘Booking Information’ button and everything you need to know will be at your fingertips.
Over the years we’ve helped countless people to book their holidays, so we know a thing or two about accommodation in ski resorts all over the world. That’s why we’re perfectly qualified to help you make the most important decision of your holiday: where should you stay so you get exactly what you need?
The choice isn’t as hard as you’d think – you just need to look at what’s on offer and imagine yourself there. So, what’s the difference?
The Catered Ski Chalet
If you’re looking for that classic ski holiday feeling in cosy accommodation with just your own family or group of friends, the welcome of a catered ski chalet could be your ideal solution. You’ll have your own host (or hosts) who’ll be there to take care of your every need – from preparing a hearty breakfast in the morning to set you off on your day on the slopes, to keeping the place spotless, cooking you fabulous cakes and three-course gourmet evening meals and being your own personal font of local information.
If you like the idea of a personalised service and the luxury of having your accommodation all to yourself, this will tick all the boxes.
The Chalet Hotel
As the name suggests, this could most easily be described as a hybrid of a ski chalet and a local hotel. So, in a nutshell, you get the same relaxed, sociable ambience and great service but on a much larger scale. Depending on the resort and the establishment, typically they will accommodate between 30-180 guests.
Some of the features and benefits include:
- Scope for larger groups
- Often have an onsite bar
- Large dining tables, great for socialising
- Hotel-style facilities without the formality
- Breakfast, afternoon tea and evening meals with wine
- Friendly staff (often British)

When you book with us you not only get the choice of a huge range of catered ski chalets, you also get the in-depth knowledge of our friendly, professional team. No matter what the size of your group, we’ll be able to help your holiday run smoothly. Whether you’re travelling with just a few friends or as many as 100, we can help you find the perfect accommodation. We may be able to organise group discounts in many cases and some people might even go free (dependent on group size and operator). As well as that, we can help with other logistical details, like sorting out ski school lessons and more.
Family ski holidays can be a truly memorable experience but it’s important to get things right so everyone’s happy. Choosing the right accommodation for your family is our speciality and our pleasure. A catered ski chalet allows you to relax and take care of the important things, without having to worry about meals and cleaning, and our expert team will also ensure that you’ll have everything you need at your fingertips including childcare (with in-house nannies and resort crèches), kid’s clubs, ski schools and babysitters on hand. Infants and children under 12 travel at a reduced rate, and mealtimes and food can be flexible to suit.
We understand some people like to keep an element of flexibility with their travel so we also offer packages without flights and transfers for anyone who lives outside the UK, has already booked a flight or perhaps wants to make their own travel arrangements. All you need to do is click on ‘Independent Travel’ as an option from the departure airport feature when doing a search for your perfect accommodation. (In some cases you’ll pay a reduced accommodation rate if you choose ‘own transport’.)
As well as the option of booking your own flights, you may want to travel to the resort by train (which some operators do offer in their packages) or opt to self-drive. Just remember that if you are making your own arrangements you’ll need to factor in transfers from the airport or train station to the resort. While we don’t book transfers, we can certainly help with advice and tips. Just get in touch!
