Ski Chalets in Breckenridge

Breckenridge is now firmly established as the Uk's favourite US ski resort and there are a terrific range of catered chalets to choose from. Dating back 130 years, Breckenridge has maintained its 'Old West' charm of the gold mining era, combining character, a fun and friendly atmosphere and an unbelievable ski area.  The Breckenridge area pass includes Keystone, Vail, Beaver Creek and the 'high-altitude' Arapahoe Basin, making the resort a great choice for a perfect Colorado ski holiday.

The nursery slopes in Breckenridge are mainly by the Quicksilver lift or at the base of Peak 8, whilst the area right behind the village offers some great slopes for intermediates.  Alternatively head up Peak 9, and from there you can access skiing across all four mountain peaks.  The construction of the Imperial Express SupercChair - the highest in the Northern Hemisphere - has given access to previously unattainable advanced and expert terrain.  With snowbowls in Peak 8, the Ten Mile Range of peaks 8,9 and 10 and double diamond black runs galore, Breckenridge draws expert skiiers back time and time again.  For the boarders there are five terrain parks and four half pipes in the area.

Breckenridge is a lively town, popular with young skiers and boarders.  Other amenities include superb shopping and a massive sports and recreation centre, as well as a number of art galleries for those in need of some culture.

RESORT highlights

New for 2016/17

A new restaurant is being constructed on Peak 7, at the top of the Independence chair lift. It will have a modern, log-beamed framework serving fast-casual hot and cold foods, with the inclusion of a Mediterranean station and salad bar. So if you are having a great time on Peak 7 and Peak 6 you ll now be able to get a substantial lunch without gauling yourself back to Peak 8. Expected opening is early this coming winter
