La Villa is one of the key ski villages in the Alta Badia district and Sud Tyro. The centre of the village has a selction of bars and shops and some populatr restuarants offering you the chance to sample and taste the wares of the local Ladino tradition.

Corvara is another village of the Alta Badia region with a great location on the Sella Ronda circuit offering easy access to nearby resorts including La Villa, Arabba, and Selva.

There are plenty of shops and cafes in Covara to keep you busy off the slopes as well as some popular bars to visit once you've decided to give your ski legs a rest.

RESORT highlights

New for 2016/17

At Arabba, the old double chair lift from the village to Portados at mid-mountain is being replaced by a n 8-seater gondola. This connects with a higher fast chair that gets you en route to Passo Pordoi, easing the traffic flow on the clockwise Sella Ronda circuit. In a large refurbishment, the Gran Paradiso button lift at Piz Sella is being replaced by a covered 8-seater with heated seats Italy's first, apparently; seats are in an eye catching blue!
