A high altitude resort that offers snow at most times of the year, this is the perfect spot for skiers who are keen to enjoy the nightlife whilst on their winter holidays, as it boasts a wide variety of lively clubs and bars. It is also home to more than 200km of slopes, with plenty to interest both beginners and more experienced winter sports enthusiasts. The fact that there is an excellent terrain park in the village is the reason that many snowboarders are drawn to the area and the 120m half-pipe ensures that there is never a dull moment.

During peak season, around 35,000 people head for this resort but it is always possible to find a quiet spot if you want to escape the crowds.
