AS part of the Grand Massif ski area, Samoëns offers an intimate, family feel combined with a large ski area.
With 5 interlinked resorts (Samoëns, Les Carroz, Flaine, Morillon and Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval) there are 265km of pistes available with a broad appeal for all ability levels.
New for 2017/18
The big new Coulouvrier six-seater chair-lift, replacing the slow, old and much shorter Lanche chair, starts much lower than the Lanche and so is accessible from Samoëns 1600, thus creating an alternative route to Tête des Saix. It s a staggering 2850m long one of the longest in France. Two new pistes have been created, with two more to follow for next season.
