Ski Saas Fee
In the canton of Valais in Switzerland, close to the well-known resort of Zermatt, this traditional Alpine village offers access to over 100km of marked slopes . The absence of motor vehicles in the village - only electric taxis are allowed on the narrow streets - ensures a relaxing atmosphere that allows visitors to appreciate the wonderful views afforded by the elevated location. If you would like to get away from it all, this resort is ideal.
A variety of attractions
With most winter sports taking place between 2500-3500 metres above sea level, snow is guaranteed in this area; one of the reasons that it is so popular. The charm it exudes, with quaint buildings set against a backdrop of snow-covered mountains, is another reason to head to the Saas Fee ski resort for your winter holidays. Snowboarders love the village as it boasts an excellent boarding park. The après-ski scene is enlivened by the presence of many enthusiasts throughout the season and adrenaline junkies can always get a fix, with bobsleighing, bungee-trampolining and a zip-line all available in the area.
Something for everybody
Skiers of all abilities appreciate this resort as it has something for everyone. Nursery slopes, greens, blues and challenging tree runs are all within easy reach of the accommodation, making it a good place for families and mixed groups to stay.
