WEsayChalet Du Berger is a traditional Fench chalet, it offers great value for money and a cozy, laid-back atmosphere. Some rooms are smaller than others but the living area has plenty of space to relax in. In a great location perfect for the keen skier who wants to spend more time on the slopes than in the chalet.
Chalet du Berger is very much in the French family home style, so has great character, but we'd be kidding if we said it was really plush. It offers great value for money for skiers who are simply interested in skiing rather than pampering.
In Autumn 2016 there were some very practical improvements to this great value chalet: Boot warmers, new entrance styling, new bathroom stylings, new storage area.
The location of Du Berger is perfect, with the Solaise cable car only a 4 minute walk away. There’s usually enough snow to ski back very close by to the chalet.
The lounge/dining area has a warm atmosphere and mountain views from the balcony. Some bedrooms are smaller than others but all have ensuite bathrooms and plenty of hot water!
ROOM DESCRIPTIONS
Ground floor:
3 twin rooms each with shower, basin and wc,
1 twin room with bath, basin and wc (restricted view from small window). Ski storage. Boot warmers.
1st floor:
Lounge/dining areas with large terrace. Kitchen.
2nd floor:
1 triple room with 3 single beds, shower, basin and wc (restricted height).
3rd floor:
1 triple room with 3 single beds, shower, basin and wc, 1 twin room with shower, basin and wc.
NOTES
Children (2-12yrs) are accepted throughout the season however, infants (child under 2 yrs) are only welcome when a group takes Exclusive Use of the chalet
A late booking fee of £15 pp is payable for bookings taken within 10 days of departure.
Catering is 5 nights for this chalet (6 nights Xmas week)
